I have a 96 Infiniti I-30, and in just 2 months we're already using the 3rd new battery. we only used the car at most 4 times a week and mostly just city driving.

There are auto zones for a free charging system check and places that sell battery's like Battery Plus. If your dealer checked the charging system output off the back of the alternator and it was low or no output that would tell me the alternator is bad. If it was check at the battery there could be problems from the alternator to battery like a cable or if you have bad battery clamps not making Good connections. If your looking for a draw take off the negative cable and put a test light or meter between cable end and - battery post if there is a draw the light will go on or meter will read 12Volts. Then if you want to find draw turn off key and all loads like dome light and hood light. and then start pulling fuses 1 at a time until the light goes out our meter readings drop. hope this helps.Just needs a new alternator. Take it up to autozone and they will do a diagnostic on your charging system for free.
