As long as the battery has a good charge in it. As a battery becomes discharged, the acid and water tend to seperate, this of course can allow the battery to freeze, however, in the trunk, at only 30 degrees, and with even some charge, it should be fine. If you are unsure, using a voltmeter, check battery D.C. voltage, if it reads more than 10 volts, you should be in fine shape, overnight, although you should charge the battery if it reads less than 12 volts before using it.More Questions & Answers ...
