Which intake gives more horsepower to a SI 06 ?

Question:
which intake gives more horsepower to a SI 06 ? AEM injen Fujita and whats the difference between a short ram and a regular long intake any sugestions

Answers:

I just put an intake on my car and the check engine light came on?

A longer Cold Air Intake will give you more power, try to keep the air filter in the corner of the engine bay, so it gets the coldest air possible. Cold air has oxygen molecules per square inch, it is more dense, so that is why the cold air system will give you better performance than a ram air, or box style ram air.

Can these engines be swapped?

the difference between a short ram intake and a normal cold air intake is that with a cold air intake, the air filter is relocated outside of the engine bay (thus cold air). this will deliver better gains than the short ram intake, however the driver must be cautious to avoid getting water inside the engine. a short ram intake will give you an increase in stock power, but since the air filter is still located inside the engine bay you dont have to worry about sucking in water when it rains, etc.
