Not familiar with the Yaris but it's possible that each airbag has its own fuse or isolator switch - looking in the owners handbook or ask Toyota dealerLabor cost for sparkplugs and crankshaft sensors..?
If it is fused, simply remove the fuse. Again, you'll need to find out which fuse (very important!) and location of fusebox.

The only way to deactivate properly it is to remove the wire from the squib on the actual airbag you want to deactivate. Remove the glovebox and look up and you will see the yellow wire and connector you need to remove. If you put a 20ohm resistor into the connector of the loom it fools the ecu into thinking the airbag is connected and stops the warning lamp coming on.
Remember there may be legal/insurance complications if you were to have an accident with a deactivate airbag.

If you must do this, get it done by a reliable mechanic, if you dont have a really good independent dealer use a main dealer. disconnecting an airbag seems really unwise though. Make sure you tell them you have done this when you sell it on!Have a look in your handbook. On ours, there's a key switch in the passenger's door shut.
