1998 ford contour and 1990 ford topaz?

would there have to be much or any hard work in putting an engine block from a 1998 ford contour into a 1990 ford topaz? they both have the same fuel and injection systems i believe. Also how about the spark plugs and or starter?

They have almost nothing in common. Anything's possible, but do you really want to spend all that time and money on a 1990 Topaz?
