They are Primewell tires that I bought at Firestone. I also did an Alignment. It is more of a high pitched noise and is more noticeable at lower speeds or when changing speeds. My previous Michelin tires did not make any noise.

Tire noise is cause by the tread pattern. All brand of tires have different tread patterns. Some are noisy, some are quiet. Usually the louder tires have better traction in adverse weather conditions. Having the tires siped (cuts in the tread) Will sometimes help the noise of the tire. The Primewell is a rock-bottom el-cheapo economy tire designed and made in China with only the minimum amount of engineering to make it safe and reliable.
