Don't know what kind of engine, or subframe layout, but you could try LOOSENING (not removing) another engine mount or two, WITH A JACK SUPPORTING THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE.

My van sliding doors freeze shut all the time, does anyone know of a product to prevent this from happening?

Put a jack under your engine. Use a flat piece of wood and put it between the jack and the oil pan.Which is where you'll put the jack. Remove the front motor mount or mounts and have the jack already putting some upward force on the engine slowly lower the engine. If it doesn't get low enough you may have to remove the other motor mounts too. When you install the pulley again all you should have to do is jack up the engine and reinstall the mounts you took off.
