Question:
how to remove a governor on a 69 charger?
Answers:
If your car was in the shop, how do you go about getting a loaner car?
Go to the library and look at a service manual. You will need something to catch fluid in when you remove it. I don't think you have to remove the transmission, but you may have to remove the cross member to get it out. You can use a chisel and a hammer to knock the cover off, but be careful as it will drown you with fluid. The library is the only place I know of that has service manuals that would go back that far, and that you can look at for free. You might find an old timer that has a shop and the book you need to look at.Glad I could Help. Good Luck!

it don't have a governor on it,,the only governor needed for that car is there driver,,good luck, lol, were not all dummies here,,what is the best value professional motor tool kits?
I'll assume, since you asked the question, that somehow, someway, someone figured out a way to put some kind of governor on your Charger? If so, why? To keep you from going fast because you have a history of having a lead foot? I imagine you can put a rev limiter on an electronic ignition modification if you really want to. What makes you think there's a governor on this car? There wasn't one on the car when it was new.More Questions & Answers ...
