Phone charger stuck in cigarette lighter?

Question:
My son has has got my in-car phone charger stuck in his Clio Sport cigarette lighter.
When he tried to remove it the lead detached itself. Due to the design of the lighter socket it is stuck rather deep down so you can't grab it with pliers......... polite suggestions please??

said disconnect battery try to strip down charger as much as can .
Then try and get lighter out usually easy and if needs be buy a new one really cheap from car places eg halfords.

suggest you disconect the car battery or remove the fuse from the cigarette lighter first
then try and disasemable the cigarette lighter it's self, most of them will unscrew.
Make sure the fuse is removed, so no power will be present.
