What will seal a leak in a Cars cooling system.?
could be faulty oil sending unit, loose wire to sending unit, or poor engine ground curcuit. check your wires and cables for connection and corrosion.Do I have to tighten head bolts?
the only reason the brake light would come on is that the pressure in the hydraulic system is to low to stop the vehicle. Does the vehicle have power brakes? If so, check the powerbrake booster. That is the round flat thing that the mastercylinder is hooked to. The line from the brake booster chamber goes to a vaccuum chamber, and could have brake fluid in it. If it does have fluid in it, the boost chamber will have to be replaced. You will need to replace the master cylinder also, the thing where the brake fluid went. And with plymouths, only use plymouth parts. It has been my experience that no other parts are made properly. Plymouth parts on plymouths. I have 2 mini-vans now, a 89 and an 98, bothrun very well and only use plymouth parts. My old crate appears to be leaking oil (seen behind Front Left Tire. What's this due to?
Best have it checked by a good shop soon. It,s possible that your oil pump is going bad, that would explain why the light comes on when you slow down. A weak oil pump may produce enough pressure at higher RPM,s but can,t do so at slower engine speed so you need to have it checked before you do some engine damage. And never add motor oil unless your sure it needs it as in using the dipstick.More Questions & Answers ...
