Question:
Hi I have a Seat Leon 1.9 TDI but it has no power in it. It does not seem to go above 60-65 miles per hour and going up a hill it can slow to 40-45 miles per hour. Sometimes the turbo kicks in, but it only lasts for about 10 seconds and the car stutters and the turbo stops. Someone mentioned it may be to do with the air filter or air flow metre. As you can tell, I dont know a lot about cars. Can you suggest what may be wrong, how I can fix this and the likely cost Thanks

Is the ABS feature integrated within the Master Cylinder of a car? Or is it entirely seperate from that unit?
Cant say for certain unless i was looking at the car but i,d be pretty certain thats its the air flow meter. This is the alloy and plastic bit with the wires going to it on the air filter hose. Before you fit this part which should cost approx. £70, take the car to a diagnostic technician and get them to run a test. There are so many sensors that could give you the same symptoms that it would be money well spent. Also, check to make sure that the actual hose going to the turbo hasnt split or come off. Still, my bet is the air flow meter.

Is your engine management light on? Get it diagnosed if so. Maybe it's the solonoid on the turbo. Just had the same problem.
