Mercury Mistique question...?

Question:
I have a 1995 Mercury Mistique. I have a problem when steering to the left around curves, it makes a low, humming noise. I'ts fine when I turn to the right. What needs to be fixed? Thanks for your help.

Peterbuilt air compressor for brakes?

Agreed. Classic symptom for a worn wheel bearing set, which on this car is IIRC a complete hub and bearing assembly. Because it makes noise when you turn left and not right I would suggest it is probably the right front hub that needs replacing. Take it to the shop to have it checked.

Question about tubeless tyre?

might be tie rod.

maintenance problems 2002 volvo S80 T6?

Difficult to say, but I would suspect either one of your tires is rubbing the plastic inner fender, or a CV joint is starting to "talk". Check the boot around the CV joint (it is rubber and is prone to tearing after time) and check the inner fenders to see if any visible signs of rubbing or anything hanging in or around the tires.

Minor Car Accident--who pays?

If the humming noise is coming from the front of the car it is more than likely the sealed wheel bearing assembly is dried out or failing.
