I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT. When I turn on the A/C the car whines. It sounds like a power steering whine and is affected by turning the steering wheel. The p/s fluid is full and only does it with A/C on. Any ideas??

I agree with the other to check the belt but also, the extra load with the a/c on could affect the power steering pump. Have you opened the hood and listened to the differences in sound of the steering pump? If your steering isnt feeling harder I wouldnt worry about it. I ran into this a lot at honda. People would complain of normal noises, but when a person is worried and sits in the car often.. they notice subtle differences. My sister says check the serpentine belt, sounds like the drag of the A/C compressor is making the belt slip and squeel. Either it is loose or needs replaced!how do you know if fuel injector is bad?
