do any aftermarket modifications improve mpg? for example: turbo, supercharger, intake, exhaust, fuel injectors etc.

get a car with an LS1 a turbo with the right fuel management will get 500 rear wheel horsepower and 30 mpg highway. not to mention an 11.3 in the quarter. 99 Camaro lots of $$$ gas consuption based on driving habbits :)Usually not but the above would often improve power.
01STYPE JAG NO HEAT ONLY COLD air blowing out only cold air no heat what do i do?
NOhow do i immobilize the airbag?
I had a turbo in my PT Crusier. Got terrible MPG, and on top of that, you had to run premium. Some one who knows a thing or two about cars...help?!?!?
Well, there are some that can increase gas mileage. A high flow intake and exhaust can help. Although, it depends on the driver. Usually when people get these things make the driver race around because it makes the engine sound more aggresive and gives a better throttle response. Doing this will hurt your gas mileage.Turbos can increase gas mileage, but you wont be able to find a aftermarket turbo kit designed for better gas mileage. They will be tuned for performance. Superchargers NO!!
The only thing you can do to fuel injectors or fuel pumps if increase thier output. More Gas=less gas mileage
can vacum pump brakes be converted to an electric vacum system?
probably the exaust and aftermarket air filter kit would give you a little better gas milleage.Computer control modifications. Another 20+ HP when you need it.
What could be causing a squeaky wheel/tire after an alignment?
Only intake and exhaust. Maybe tuning the ECU too. Definatly not a turbo or supercharger, you'll gain power, but loose MPG.The cd player in my 2002 honda civic coupe skips anytime i enter a bump. How do i resolve this.?
Put on a cold air intake! It will give you more horse power and increase your gas mileage! It's a fact. There is also a product call Eco energizer that claims a guaranteed horse power gain and a 20% mpg increase.Go to ecoenergizer.com to read about it
Breaks and Rotors question...?
I think air intakes would.when i fuel up my car, it stopped in the middle (75% full)?
There are a few methods used but you'll need a major in engineering to understand the application and methods. Check out the links.Revving problem with a 91 Toy ta Celica?
ABSOLUTELY... ANYTHING THAT WILL REDUCE WIND DRAG WILL IMPROVE GAS MILEAGE. THE QUESTIONS IS HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO SPEND... BODY AND GROUND EFFECTS KITS ARE AN EXPENSIVE WAY TO GO TO PICK UP A FEW EXTRA MILES BUT THEY LOOK GREAT WHEN DONE RIGHT... I DRIVE A 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GT AND FOR LESS THAN 200$ I GAINED ALMOST AN ADDITIONAL 5 MILES TO THE GALLON BY INSTALLING A K&N AIR FILTER AND TORNADO INTAKE AIR MANAGER. IT ALSO GAVE ME A LITTLE MORE SNAP... CHECK IT OUT... YOU'LL LIKE IT.Actually, as someone with a major in engineering, I can tell you the Turbonator listed above is complete garbage and their technobabble to persuade people how it works is pseudoscience. CNN and Popular Mechanics both tested the nearly identical Tornado Fuel Saver, finding it reduced power and either did nothing for mileage or reduced it. Most easily installed things that claim to boost mileage are actually rip-offs. It's pretty rare that you will find aftermarket engine mods that actually increase mileage, and usually it's more of an accidental byproduct when they do.
how to fix the airbag on my honda?
There is one thing you can do that is very likely to improve mileage: Weight reduction. Things like lightweight batteries, fiberglass body panels, replacing iron with aluminum, etc. will bring down your car's weight and make your engine not have to work as hard.
