ABS light comes on and stays on when driving on wet roads. It doesn't seem to happen in any other conditions.
Also, when the warning light is on, the brakes still feel as if the abs is still engaged and working. What do I need to look at to make sure my abs is in proper working order?

These ABS sensors are built into the wheel hubs, and water gets inside the wheel hub and freeze's which causes abs sensor reading to be off and then the abs light comes on, your going to have to bring in and get looked at, they need to retrieve a code out of the abs computer.then that will tell you whats wrong.Problems with power steering??
more than likely it's a wheel bearing that's bad. or it's getting moisture inside during rainy daysmost likely senario is water/moisture entering the wheel speed sensor harness/harnesses during wet conditions causing erratic wheel speed signals and causing the electronic brake control module to store digital trouble codes for erratic/missing wheel speed sensor signals and triggering the abs lamp on.the brakes will feel normal because base braking is still available,but should you encounter a situation where your abs is needed it will not be functional due to the stored dtcs-when codes or dtcs are stored the system disables itself to prevent further problems.
