Any help with plastic bumper?

i always use Vaseline on them,,it keeps them soft,and durable and it works well on all of the type that have the removable glass,just apply it,and let it soak in to the rubber good ,it works good ,,hope this help,s.have a good x-mas.

what is BONDO?

Spray the rubber seal several times with silicone and let it soak in and work it in with a rag and spray i again it will bring new life to the rubber seal..

On the assembly lines if we had a leak ,be it t-top rear hatch or door we would beat the sheetmetal up underneath (after removing wha t need removed to access the edge of the panel During Final water test we would slit the rubber seal at he leak (Pull out of groove and replace glue holding it down) and slit it and stuff a piece of cotton in there to raise that spot'Clean the weatherstrip with soap and water and use silicone spray to soften up and provide a waterproof seal against water
