My kid spilled milk in my car and it soaked into the leather seats. now what...?
waxing in direct sunlight can cause the wax to dry to fast. when this happens the wax doesn't penetrate correctly leaving swirl marks on the surface.
1987 Jeep Wrangler...won't start, having issues...what do I do?
don't wax it in the rain, but waxing it on a rainy day is fine.
You should always wax your car in the shade. It usually says so right on the container. Sun makes the wax dry too fast, and it also heats up the paint, which also makes the wax dry too fast. The wax needs time to penetrate into the paint a little. If it dries too fast, you end up with streaks and a generally poor job. The car has to be completely dry, and like the other guy said, you shouldn't wax the car when the weather is cold. If it's raining, as long as it's not raining on the car you're OK. Go to a car wash that has an EZ Up or some other kind of structure they park the car under when they wax it.
I have a 1994 GMC Sonoma. Heater fan problem!?
many waxes are photo- sensitive, they can leave blemishes in your paint that can only be removed by using a compound and a buffer if you try to use a paste wax when it is raining, you will end up with a smeared mess.any temp above 70 is ideal, the wax will be easier to remove. you can wax your car when its sunny..pick early morn or evening when sun is less intense.there are several products that you spray on the car when it is wet, then wipe off.More Questions & Answers ...
