Question:
My 96 GT has been acting up at idle, not enough to trigger a check engine light, but still enough to affect performance. I can hear a high pitched whistle that seems to be located in the dash area when accelerating. I have been assuming vacuum problems, replaced the upper and lower intake gaskets, TPS, and IAC, but to no avail. If anyone has experienced a similar problem and has a solution please let me know before I have to put this pony down, lol.
Answers:
Does anyone know how get rid of scratches on a car?
Pull each of the small vacuum hoses off of their ports on the manifold one at a time and plug the port with you finger to see which vacuum circuit is leaking. When the idle smooths out you will know which one it is, that is IF it is a vacuum problem.okay you put that mustang down and ill have to come find you and do the same to you lol j/k i love old cars but dont know too much about them but if you dont want the car you can sell it to me -k- lol
My car no more runs smoothly. why?
