Question:
I drive a 1992 Toyota Camry with a 2.2L engine. It's got 130k mi. It runs smooth and quiet once it warms up. It just makes allot more noise when its cold that in used to. I've always used 10W 30 but I heard that 5W 30 is better during start up. Is it ok to switch so far into the engines life and would it help? Thanks

How can I unclog my wiper nozzle?
if its cold where u r switching to 5w30 for winter is suggested the engine will love ya it a thinner cold start oil and when its warm its the same as 10 w 30 so it should be ok as sone as warm weather hits go back to 10 w 30 as long as ur engine is not burning oil 5 w 30 will burn and leak out faster as well good luck and if ur still not sure you can always refer to your ouner manual or ur local garageyeah deffinatly switch to 5w30 your runnin a 4 cylinder 6 cylinder it's easier on the engine and it runs well in cold weather and make sure its synthetic....
I have a leak in my plugged tire and have to fill it up every day. Short on money now. Soultions?
It is quite normal for Toyotas to sound louder than normal during the start up process when it is cold. I should know, because I've had two. The Toyota's computer is choking your engine for an easy start. Once the motor warms up a little, the computer disengages the choke mechanism, allowing for proper air/fuel mixture. Can I put a rear Bumper for a 1998 GMC Jimmy on a 1996 GMC Jimmy?
The lighter oil does help, too. Check to see if you have any exhaust leaks or holes in the mufffler. I have had that problem once before with my Toyotas.
slipping transmission after flush?
Yes, 5W30 is better, the lower the number the thinner the oil. 5 weight is better in the extreme cold. Thats what im using.More Questions & Answers ...
