At car washes -Do you spray the wax on then rinse it off ? - Or do you rinse the soap & leave the wax on?

Question:
I am confused- Some car washes list it as the last step without rinsing and others list it as the next to the last step before rinsing? So do I spray wax on and leave it - Or do I spray wax on then rinse it off?

Spray it on, then rinse it off. However, you are wasting your money. The wax does little to protect your paint, or make it shine more. The best way to protect your paint is hand rubbed paste wax. I know, it's a lot of work, but if you do it a couple of times a year, your car will shine for many years to come.
