Replacing positive side terminal...?

Question:
this is in response to answers i received prior, would i risk messing up the motor if i put an after market terminal on it?...i want to replace the whole wire but i think it would take just way too long, and i think just replacing the head would suffice just fine, is it possible the car would act normal when i replace it, would i risk any long term effects, im not bad with wiring so i dont think i would risk fire, i just wanna make sure that replacing the head would infact act just as if i replaced the whole wire.?

The car will be just fine if the terminal is all that is wrong with it. Just replacing the end isn't going to damage your engine.

Car Problems: Can anyone advice please?

you could just replace the head but why? go ahead and change the whole cable it also is bad by rights.

My tranny may need a new seal because it's leaking.. will AAMCO agree w/me or will they force me to rebuild

you can do that without any undesireable effects just as long as the whole wire is good.
