You can add many zeros to how many plugs I've changed in the last 20 years. If your car did not come with platinum plugs original than don't put them in. They do absolutely nothing more for you vehicle than good standard plugs. In fact using them on a Chevy V8 the power was decreased until I reinstalled standard plugs. A VW PASSAT that came with platinum plugs would not run right unless it had the original platinum plugs.
