Both airconditioner and heat are blowing i just want the heat to come out?

sounds like the defroster is coming on the same time as the heater. check switch position, then check switches. then read the manual before doing anything--- this maybe normal, Is the air conditioning blowing cold on You?. Some a/c systems have a reversing valve that allows the a/c to be used like a heat pump.

It could be a bad vacuum solenoid on the actuator door, leaking vacuum line. Check your vacuum on a gauge and make sure you have good vacuum form the motor. I assume you have the heater controls set to heat only and do not have the defrosters on. I'll admit, I'm not that familiar with the Neon, but I did have a similar problem on one of my cars some time back.

i own a repair shop,and the only thing that will cause this to happen is the inside control in it on it,,the switch that divides the heat from the air can go bad and cause this,,my truck done this,and i had to get a new inside unit for it,,but that's what causes this to happen,,you might find a good unit used from a junk yard,,they usually cost around 30 bucks from a junk yard,,and around 170 bucks for a new one,,good luck hope this help,s.
