It should cost about $40 at most for the part, and about $120-$150 for the labor, as they will have to power flush the air out of the system once they install the new wheel cylinder. Any brake shop can handle it.I have a chocolate stain on my cloth car seat, any suggestions?
BTW, it's odd that your wheel cylinder failed so soon, unless you have a lot of miles on it or you drive it offroad at lot.
I have a chevy 393 motor that i is still sitting on the engine stand?
I used to work at a brake repair shop and as long as the part is new and from a reputable manufacturer it is usually OK. As for the cost you will need to know how much the part is(Repair shop mark up is sometimes as much as 100%), and the labor rates in your area. Call around and get a quote. Is it a good idea to put in high octane gas?
No need to buy Rover. Check out ebay they have loads of new parts at bargain prices.go to the parts store and get one, a lot cheaper, I just replaced one this week on a pontiac and it cost me $10.00.
rovers dont make w/cylinders. tyres. h/gaskets ect they commission specialist manufacturers to make these items to their spec. and add a mark up. the information already given is quite correct. a good quality pattern part could be oe anyway and normally costs less.
