Can a failed starter stall a car while driving it?

i own a shop,and a friend of mine has one of these and it was leaking from the bottom of the wind shield on it,,and its only a few years old ,try looking around the door rubber to see if its coming in around there,,and look around the heater box,,they can leak rain water in from around the box its self,,because part of the drain off runs down the side of the box for these it was a bad design on there part,good luck hope you find it,,have a good x-mas.

Just cause there is no smell doesn't mean its NOT the core. The smell is just a troubleshooting tip, not an end all be all.
