I am beginning to look at car parts and their purposes yet i know nothing about the parts. can somebody help me with understanding parts for example intake systems and many other devices. thanks!

What type of car are you gonna modify. I would say first go with aem cold air intake system. then a header and an exhaust. Try to get the header and exhaust together. its easier to install if you got all the parts. But like i said it also depends what type of car you are gonna mod. It might be kinda hard to find parts. they got reasonably prices. Try to stay away from ebay if your buying a intake. Filters are crappy and i would recommend a megan racing header. they are cheap and well built! Hope this helps...
