Why does my diesel shogun have problem starting in the cold?

Question:
when i try to start it on a cold morning it takes ages . the glow plugs are fine and the ingecters are fine as the aa have tested them.but when its worm its fine only when its cold.any ideas

Make sure the glow plugs have time to heat up before you turn over the engine, or let them heat up then turn off the ignition and let them heat up again.

Try switching your headlamps on before and during the start up operation. I've read somewhere that the extra resistance in the electrical system helps the glow plugs to warm up more quickly.
I know it sounds odd, but it must be worthy of a try?

sounds like a glow plug problem but could also be a weak battery but you could try getting an additive for diesel i use Redex diesel injector additive in the tank and never have a problem
