I have some white paint on my chrome bumper how do I remove this?
i own a repair shop and it may just have twisted the belt around on it and got hung up,try pulling it out a few times and see if that helps, one other thing also i have seen a coin get hung up in these before and cause this,if none of this helps you may have to replace that part of it,a good junk yard would probably have a good one to fit it,it don't have to go to a dealer to be repaired though this should be a simple fix, good luck i hope this helps.87 chevy 3/4 ton suburban stalling?
If im not mistaken seatbelts have a lifetime warranty. Only way to find out is call GM directly, dont bother calling the dealership, cause we all know they'll give you the run around. I had a '91 nissan sentra that i purchased new,. I had a seatbelt that malfunctioned way past the warranty period. I took it to the dealership, and they fixed it for free. Like i said, find the number for GM, and give them a call.Need car advice. Popping sound in car.?
It might be something really simple, like a penny stuck in the there, and you would be surprised how often I have had to pull small coins out of the back seat belts in my cars. If you know how to properly remove the seat and the belt casing, then do it yourself. If not I would say it is time to take it to the dealer and have them check it for you. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea, since we are talking about your daughters saftey here.Good luck
I found a link of a recall on an older Buick for this problem.

If the belt retractor assembly is gummed up, it usually not worth fixing. If you can fix it, it will probably just happen again. Probably best to get it replaced. It's not an incredibly difficult to install, but probably not something to try yourself. Any mechanic should be able to do it, no need to bring it into a dealer.
