My Xd falcon runs only lpg, after she goes for a while then you stop it she won't restart?

Question:
when you try to restart she will wind over then will fire and then cuts out she won't run long enough to put into gear or rev for that matter. This happens mainly when hot but somedays also occurs when cold occasionally she won't start at all in the morning..I have checked timing spark plugs etc but think it is electrical and maybe the safety switch, can I check this myself or does she need to go to the gas specialist?
