How do i get the airbag light to turn off in my 99 alero?

Question:
i crashed a while ago and the airbags went off, i didnt report it to the insurance and have been fixing my car. i replaced the airbags, but did not connect the fuse cuz its a pain replacing them when they shouldnt have gone off. Anyways how to i get the airbag light from turning off on the dash? any ideas

You will probably need to replace the SDM (Sensing and Diagnostic Module). Then you will need to reprogram bcm with tech 2 so bcm will except new module

Just replacing the bags is no good unless you get the propellent recharged as well. You might be able to turn off the light with an OBDII code reader but that will just turn off the light not fix the problem.
