Am i being ripped off?

Question:
new clutch 2 weeks ago massive oil leak next day. ok now.clutch gone this week!!garage says oil leak above clutch so I have got to pay for new clutch and to have the oil leak found and repaired.no car no money and no faith any more.

NO, oil on the clutch has been another fault because of the leak which you already knew. YES oil can leak into the box and cause your problem. cant blame the garage you have just been unlucky.
You could try cleaning the plate etc with brake/clutch cleaner but they still need to take it down to do the job properly.

if it is definately above the clutch then no your not being ripped off, but if its the rear main oil seal which is behind the clutch then yes it is their fault because they have knocked it when refitting the gearbox, take it somewhere else for a second opinion.
