Upgrade your exhaust! I have an automatic eclipse gsx so there is really no point in really building it for racing. I'm just going to beef it up a little bit because its my street car. But definately go for a new exhaust. Upgrading the intake will make it louder too and thats cheaper like under $200 bucks.Car shop cant find out whats wrong with car can you help?

Find the RX8 enthusiast's forum online (Yahoo or Goog search for it) and do some researchinto what others have already done. You have a rotary engine, so it's isn't going to sound like a 4, 6 or 8-cylinder engine no matter what you do. They have a sound all their own. Whether than can be beefed up to sound fast (it can certainly be made to sound loud) is an unknown. But go find someone who has already tried it - my buddy went with a standard solution for his Saab and it sounds like it's farting all the time. Bad...I like ur taste im also a fan of that car and what u need to do is look fo an exaust sytem and a nice muffler and it depends if u want that igniton sound thats the nitrous oxide being ignited.
