What is wrong with my 2001 Dodge Ram? (85,000 miles)?

Just recently I have noticed the check engine and abs light come on and stay on. The speedometer is not functioning either. What could it possibly be and how much could I expect to pay to get this issue resolved. I do not notice anything wrong when I drive the vehicle.

i own a repair shop,and you need to first check the fuse panel on this one,,the instruments are controlled by a fuse,,so if it has blown,,it will knock all of this out,,also a bad speed sensor on the transmission will make all of this happen also,,you can take it by any auto zone and have them scan it for you its free,and they can tell you exactly what it is,,this way you wont have to guess at it,,i do this all the time,,but its hard to guess at one you cant see,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,,happy new years also.
