It's been a week since i used it. So this morning i started the car it kinda hesitated. It's a 2003 Hyundai Elantra. 5o,ooo miles. i had a tuneup at 36,ooo miles.

help,,, eight months ago i paid £50 for a new battery for my ford ka.?

If this happends in winter time. It is probably due to moisture/dampness. Cooler winter temps and higher humidity can cause ignition and spark plug wires to become damp and short out. Replace or coat ignition wires with spay availiable at auto parts stores. This is common problem if you live in snow/rainy/cold climates and most common on older or higher mileage cars.
Also use a fuel drier in winter months to keep condensation from getting into fuel tank.
If you let car sit with out use for short periods of time it is a good idea to start it about every week or so and drive aroung the block. Helps to keep everything working smooth and lubricated. You might also consider getting a "trickle battery charger" to keep battery fresh. You can get at any auto parts store.
Hope this helps ...

When I start up 1999 Lexus GS300, the engine runs at almost 2000 rpm. Why does it run so high? Is it normal?

you might have a electrical problem. its sound like something is not turned off, some type of a electrical load is still being applied and draining your battery. best thing to do is have a shop test the electrical system. good luck.
