yes. Synthetic oils can go 5000 or more miles. THey don't break down as fast as regular oils. Worth the money. Flows better in winter and protects against higher heat in the summer

Is anyone familiar with a'stale' air smell in the air vents of their car?

i own a repair shop, and actually Mobil one will last for around 7500 miles,,i know it sounds like a long time,,but they recommend running it at least 6 thousand,,i use it and run it around 7000 to be safe,,but even after 7 k worth of driving,,it still looks good ,regular oil breaks down in about 2 k 3 at the most on it,,after i switched to it my truck ran better it also improved the mileage a lot on it,,and cold starts ,aren't hard anymore,,it starts right up,i am very thrilled with the quality of it also,,its 5 bucks a quart,,but for what all you get from it,,that's a good deal i have probably saved that much in gas ,if not more,,you should try it,,i think you,d like it,,i seen a difference in the way my truck sounded the first day i had it in it,,all my customers really love it too ,give it a try,,you,ll be glad you did,,good luck with it,hope this help,s.happy new years.

heater problems in a 95 chevy s-10 pickup?

yes! mobil one is one of the greatest synthetic oil i ever used. basically, synthetic oils are more expensive than any ordinary engine oil. secondly, synthetic oil has a higher viscosity that lessen the wear of internal engine components. lastly, it's made of high grade & uses the finest raw materials.

how do i wire from stereo unit to the so call "door wiring connectors" then to door speakers?

In a tight clean burning enguine most any oil should last for about 5,000 miles with no problems. Synthetic oil costs about $7 a quart & you don't need it.

How about finding the replacement for the Vacuum Harness Valve?

I use Castoral G.T.X. or Shell Rotella. They hold up very well in any hard working enguine. If it's a old $500 clunker then any 99 cent quart oil will be fine. Just get the 50 weight.

what is a quick way to repair torn weatherstripping on the door of your car?

Yes......and I've seen a used oil analysis on a car..... where the guy used pennzoil conventional for over 12,000 miles.... did absolutely perfect, low wear and of course... no sludge.
Any synthetic can go long distances... and todays conventional's can...., but it depends on the engine! I'd suggest finding a place that analyzes used oil (say like blackstone, etc) to find out just how far you can go....
