We recently purchased a 1991 Nissan Sentra from a neighbor hoping to repair it and give to our teen son. Problem is the car will start after a few tries and run but after a bit dies and will not restart.
Where are the spark plugs located and how do you replace them? For a 2001 Ford f150 harley davidson?
Neighbor has replaced the starter and starter relay.
Bro mechanic says it may be a fuel relay or distributor problem.
Any ideas?

this was my first car, too.mine ended up having a problem with the ground. the ground wire was not getting a good enough connection, and would cause the car to die.

Could be low idling speed, change the Fuel Filter, as this needs to be changed every year, otherwise petrol/diesel cant get to the engine its so blocked.
I'd check the fuel filter. Might need a new one. While you have the filter off turn the key on momentarily to see if it squirts gas. If so, then you know the fuel pump is working. Starter and starter and starter relay have nothing to do with the car running. Look in the manual for the 'fuel cutoff switch' and make sure it has not been actuated.
Another alignment or sign of something else?
These have had several problems. One that comes to mind, and others have stated, fuel loss or spark could be a issue; however, an ECCS relay can cause the same condition. It is like a Honda main relay.13 year old 8th grader starting car-detailing business?
The only real way to tell is by installing a spark and fuel pressure tester to the unit and see what if you loose first. if the spark and fuel is good than the injector connectors will need to ne "noided" to verify that your not loosing injector pulse; furthermore, the BAC, or bypass air control valve can also be sticking shut.
Will engine oil still in the container freeze. if it does is it any good?
Save a buck, pay diagnostics. You'll spend more $$$$ guessing and taking suggestions with out proper diagnostics.

if it's old enough, you might take the air filter off, and see if gas sprays into the carburator. several times. w/o losing pressure/volume.

30 years ago, i was driving my old vw bus, and it just quit.
i couldn't get it to do anything.
after 15 minutes, it started, and i drove a few miles, when it quit again.
it did this several times.
i finally took it into a garage, and picked it up a coupld hours later.
2 miles up the road, it quit again.
back to the garage.
seems that there was a small screen in the bottom of the tank that had gotten smashed flat.
and when enough sediment piled up on top of it, the fuel stopped.
with the engine off, and me getting in and out of the car, the gas sloshed around, and cleared the filter.
I need cheep parts for my car!?
