I have a 95 GMC Sonoma Truck 4.3, TBI. The service engine soon light is on and my truck surges while driving.

I have changed the fuel filter as the filter was partially clogged. My truck surges at all driving speed and the service engine soon light is on. What could be the problem causing the surging?

i own a repair shop and i also own a 95 Chevy with the 4.3 in it,take this one to auto zone and have them scan it,its a bad sensor but they will be able to tell you which one it is,don't spend money on buying parts that other people say it needs have it scanned and then you,ll know for sure,and the scan is free,so you have nothing to loose from doing this,good luck hope this helps.
