There could be several things wrong but I would say that the carb needs tuned first. If it is spitting raw fuel out of the exhaust then it is way to rich. If not, then it could be running so lean that it has no power. The best thing to do would probably be to reset to the recommended break in settings and start leaning the motor out from there.
