HELP-- My car struggles to start-have to hold key turned until catches, also car randomly shuts off--?

Question:
when it shuts off, I can literally touch the key and it will come back on. Also, Sometimes, the car key must be held in to start the car, i can hear it click or catching then i can start it, if i don't wait for catch, the car will just get a low idle and shut off..Sometimes the car wont even fire up at all...I have no idea where to start and can't afford a dealership looking at every possible thing...any ideas? PLEASE HELP!

i own a repair shop ,and whats causing this to happen is the ignition switch on it is going out that's a common thing with Honda,s when they get used a lot i have replaced a lot of those on some of the newer Honda,s also,but that's whats causing it,a new one is pretty expensive,but there easy to install good luck i hope this helps.
