i just bought a 97 honda accord and did an engine swap what do i need to its really fast until i get on the freeway when racing people on the freeway at 110 mph my car goes just so slow what do i need to buy for the engine that will increase my speed so i can atleast go faster till the govenor kicks in if someone knows please help me thanks.

Dodge durango rack and pinion was replaced and the power steering is still hard to turn! Is that normal?
The govenor needs to go. Find a racing chip...that'll fix that. To increase your top speed, it's all in the exhaust! Don't buy the cheap coffee can for the back, get a Borla Cat-back system off Ebay for around $500. A high-flow Cat would be nice if you can afford it, and don't forget headers. My Hyundai will get up to at least 140 just with the borla. Also, make sure you have proper air flow with a K & N drop in filter, $40 at Autozone. Don't get the open air systems you see in magazines, they pull alot of ambient air off the engine, which is hot. The factory airboxes already restrict that. After all that, you should have a 150mph sleeper that no one sees coming. Also, try to stay off the roads, it's a good way to die. Drag tracks usually cost $15 to run all night, plus it's legal and there are medics standing by. That or an auto cross track.
