I think tubeless tires on cars and trucks are fine but on lawnmowers, and smaller equipment, they don't work very well because the seals don't hold well.

i own a shop,and they don't give no more problems than a tubed tire does,,back when they first came out they gave a lot of trouble about sealing up food,,but this was years ago,,they give good service,,good luck hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

If you are in India, then you will not be able to have the tyre repaired at just about any place, especially on highways. I was travelling from Pondy to Bangalore and I saw not one but two vehicles with flat tubeless tyres, and the local puncture repair shops were unable to help... So they ran on their spare tyres and those too had given way. I gave a lift to one of them to Trichi, the nearest big town. The sad part is that even there, only the larger shops can handle tubeless...

So in India, I would wait another year or so, especially if I were doing a lot of long distance trips.

Tubeless tires compared to tubed tires are much much better. The reason for that is because of safety. If you had a tubed tire and a nail got punctured in it, you would get a flat instantly. But if you have a tubeless tire, even if your tires get punctured, you will not get an instant flat. It will take a very long time before you tires become noticeably deflated.

You don't have tubless tires in India? WHY?
The bigest advantage to tubless tires(besides a weight savings) is that the tube inside a tire will build up heat. It's ok in a semi tire but in a lightweight car tire(radial) at high speed they build up lots of heat. Tubeless tires are easy to fix too(in the USA)
