i looked at my pads and they are about as thick as a new pair... when i press the brakes down pretty hard or give it some strength on the pedal the brake will squeel.. not at slow speeds but pretty fast or just regular speed limit speeds.. what could be going on?

cut your rotorsi own a repair shop and some of the newer materials the pads are made of cause this to happen you ,can remove the pads and scuff them up some with some sand paper,and it will stop this for a while,i have a set of those on my truck that does this i just remove them once in a while and scuff them up,and there alright for a while,but that's whats causing this to happen,you can replace them or scuff them off,once in a while until there worn out,i myself will be glad when mine wear out,its just certain brands that do this,good luck i hope this helps.

You most likely are hearing pad /rotor harmonics and vibrations. To stop this annoying sound pull the pads, spray steel side with brake clean and coat the steel side with CRC BRAKE QUIET. Avalible at any NAPA store. Let the high temp silicone dry for 30 min. Re-install calipers and pads inside of compressed caliper piston.
