What other kind of cars seats or year of caprice will fit into an 88 caprice?
Changing the valve cover and thermostat housing gaskets is not affected by the engine being fuel injected, other than the location of certain things on the engine that may have to be removed to gain access to valve covers, but understand the gaskets are gaskets regardless of the type of fuel system on the vehicle. How do i stop my truck window to stop leaking?
Actually changing the gaskets is not tough at all, however removing various things from the engine to actually get to the valve covers is a rather ambitious project for a novice
Why dosnt my car charge the battery when driving?
My suggestion would be either buy or go down to the library and find a service manual for your Bronco and read through the sections on removing/reinstalling the valve covers and thermostat and that will give you a better understanding of what all is involved, and that should better help you decide if you can tackle this project.
Where is the flasher for turn signals located on a 99 Pontiac Bonneville SE?
I'm not saying that to discourage you - I'm all in favor of the do-it-yourselfer, but I don't want to falsely lead you to think this is a simple no brainer for a novice...
Where can i find the side glass windows for my 1968 chevy caprice 4 door hard top? Please help!?
on the v-8 ford you have to remove the fuel injection plenum system in able to change one of the 2 valve cover gaskets. it is fairly simple. if you purchase a repair manual(about 20 bucks) I think you could probably do it.I would also recommend a roll of masking tape and a black sharpie so you can label any hoses and wires just so you don't have to worry about hooking them up wrong.
What would cause a tire blowout?
you change it the same way you would on a carburetored engine but if you dont change oil then its not a job for you if you going to change the thermostat gasket might as well change the thermostat but you know what go ahead and tackle the job your self once you screw up you will be doing one of my fellow mechanics a favor thats why we get so much moeny cause we not only fix the problem we have to clean up the mess sometime tooMore Questions & Answers ...
