Question:
my friend suggested it because we got a small leak, we had it on a hill for a bit then put it into the garage on a flat, and it leaked for about 20 minutes to an hour then stooped...
cant see the leak for sure...
What's wrong with the clutch in my car?
my friend suggested to cut out the section of the pipe and replace it with a piece of normal gas line, and clamps... do people do that some times?? m is it ok? safe?
its a 92 cutlass supreme fuel injected.
ALSO should i start it? see if we can see the leak while running? THANKS

How hard is it to change a timing belt on a 3.0 V6 Dodge? What else do you change at that time?
yes it is safe as long as you catch the leak so no fire can startIt is unusual at a garage. If you're under a tree in your back yard though, it's common. It will work. That's why they call it 'fuel line.'
will a power steering rack off a 91 cav fit on a 94 Astra?
it will work. you will have to get it fix later.I did the same thing for my 90 Beretta seems to work fine and it has been over 2 years. Just make sure the hose is secured so it can't catch or rub on anything.
take it to a garage and have it repaird properly. I've had to do that on a few cars, i had to patch one gas line, it worked but i didn't like doing it, the cliant was very chap and he was losing about a tank of gas a day. it worked but the job was not done properly. I still regret doing that job.
My wife hooked up that battery in her car backwards?
like these nice folks say , for emergency use only. that fuel pump puts out way more pressure than the old style ones. patch it so the car won't burn down then take it to a shop so it remains safe , if you have fire insurance it is now voidCan a damaged "fly wheel" cause a loud vibration when the car is running?
If you do repair it that way make sure the rubber hose is approved high pressure gas line about a $1.50 a ft.and double clamp it. It is better to replace it with a short section of metal line and flare fittings thoBrake lamp light comes on when I start the car and put it in gear. How can I fix this?
if its TBI fuel injection or the return line of either injection type that will work just fine. Butt if its MPFI the preasure on the preasure line could be to high to workMore Questions & Answers ...
