Question:
will it interfere with current factory remote and alarm?
Answers:
i hooked up an OBD II reader to my car but it won't read anything...what's the problem?
I think a remote starter would be a good idea if you live in a cold climate. There really isn't anything wrong with putting one of these in your Tahoe. Make sure if you do that you use a good quality remote starter, basically look at the remote the starter comes with a remote that doesn't look cheap, that is how I can tell how good of quality they are. I would not reccommend putting one of these in yourself unless you know what your doing, I usually buy these bypasskits for the alarm and the key security that just basically tell the alarm to tempoarily turns off the key security and it tells the alarm system to tempoarily turn off also. door remains locked when this happens.Look at bypasskit.com, you probally have passlock 2, easy to bypass using these kits
pros- you don't have to go to your Tahoe to start it
cons - hard to install-and if you have a chip in the key
you will have to install a bypass module in order for it
to work.
After you put gas in your car were does it go why can you reuse it some how?
that's a good idea. Pros....allow ur car to have more time to warm up b4 driving. Cons....can't think of anything, cuz u can't drive ur car away w/out using the keyMore Questions & Answers ...
