I have just acquired a Gasless mig welder and I am looking for a good intruction book or booklet.

The only real way to become a good welder is practice. Ask some one who welds to offer you some pointers, or even show you a thing or two. Books are okay for general info, but only doing it over and over will make you good. Use some scrap metal and go to town on it.
