Question:
I have a '99 Dodge Ram 1500 that the taillights won't turn off. I just noticed this when I arrived at work this morning. Is there some way I can get them to turn off while I wait to get in to get the actual problem fixed?

My 95m toyota corrola doesnt seem to warm up.?
As with the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Ram has the same problem. Over time the brake pedal sticks somewhat and does not release enough to depress the brake light switch, which in turn causes your tail lights to stay on.I need to purchase and replace an engine for my car, where can I find one and how much does it cost?
This problem can be solved by spraying some lubricant on the hinge point of the brake pedal it's self.
If that does not cure the problem then it might be the stoplight switch, which is located behind the brake pedal on the inside of the firewall, in the cab.
I have VW passat. The local garage has changed its right side o/s lower straight suspension arm.?
This is a fairly easy fix, and is not terribly too expensive.
This is a pretty common part and most larger auto part stores should carry this if that's your problem.
Anyone know about cars please help?
Now this is providing that you have not done any rewiring with the tail lights for installation of trailer hook-ups etc...that's another issue.
Does the K&N Air Intake Systems really increase your horsepower.?
Check your brake light switch located by your brake pedal under the dash. It may need adjusted or replaced. You can pull the fuse in the fusebox also.I have a ford focus zetec 1.6 16 v. it takes ages to start?
pull the fuse.but its gonna blow when you plug it back in, so get some xtras.if it is the taillights yes you can pull the fuse to temporarily fix the problem if it's the brakes lights ...well that's gonna leave you with no brake lights and get you rear ended.Have some one step on the brake pedal while you check the lights in back,if they get bright it's the taillights that are stuck if not it's the brakes try pullng up on the pedal and see if they go out.Now to keep fuse from blowing when you put them back in disconnect your battery which you should ALWAYS do before doing ANY electrical work on a car.
I hooked up a sound system in mercedies kompressor now sunroof dont work?
sounds like you got a bad headlight switch.Steering wheel is shaking when I brake at varying speeds; wheel alignment?
Make sure it the tail lights and not the brake lights. An alarm system or bad headlight switch could be keeping the tail lights on, and a bad brake pedal switch or sagging brake pedal could be keeping the brake lights on.More Questions & Answers ...
