Does anyone know why my 98 Malibu always sound a chiming bell after 10 MPH?

The BRAKE and ABS indicators on the dash are on, i think my abs aren't working. it seems the BRAKE sensor isn't working neither. The worst part is dealing with the sound of the dash every time I accelerate from a stop. Is there anyway to stop that sound? Any suggestion?

If both lights are on, you have a serious issue with your ABS. It's not necessarily going bad, but there is a problem in the system, whether it be a wheel speed sensor or the ABS motor itself. AutoZone should be able to test this for you for free and give you the code. The chime is a warning that your vehicle needs serviced and will only shut off after the problem has been fixed and the codes cleared.
