Answers:

how much does it cost to pimp up your car ( body kits paint jobs...?

Probably won't give you many problems, but it IS a used car.
107K is a little high, but not alarming. Chances are the mileage is highway, and not that big a deal.
More important, has it been in a collision? Is everything straight? Does the SRS warning lamp stay on? Does the Check Engine" light stay on? Does the engine oil look like it was JUST changed? Is there oil or debris in the coolant? Transmission fluid smell?
These are the tell-tale signs to pay attention to.
Pretty much everything else is simply maintenance related.

Why aren't cars made so the head lights go off when the ignition is turned off?

CAR PROB does anyone know how to fix a sticking acellerator?

check the Kelly blue book on the $$$ and run a car fax report and then decide

What would cause your serpentine belt to glaze over?

!st, check the Bluebook on it. Also, before making a decision, request a CarFax report from the car dealer. If they will not provide one, walk away. It is your right & your responsibility to go into buying a car with all of the knowledge you can get before talking price. If you really think that paying $7850 for a car with 107 thousand miles is o.k., then go for it. Or you can get a CarFax report on your own from I think it's carfax.com

Hit the "customize appraisal" button and fill out as much as you know. And make sure you put in the right zip code.

Toyota Avalons are excellent cars. On average they should last well into their 150,000 - 175,000 mile ranges without major repairs. They're based on the Camry.
