2001 Grand Am Water Leak?

Question:
I have a 2001 Grand Am that leaks on the passenger side. It comes in somewhere around the door and runs to the floor and sometimes I swear I need scuba equipment in order to get in the car! It's INSANE! I've talked to the dealership and they don't know anything about it but from everything I've read on the net, this is a VERY COMMON issue. Has anyone had this problem? How did you get it resolved? Do you know where the leak is coming from?

A question about struts?

The most likely place that the water is running in would be just under the right hand (passenger) windshield wiper. The cowling (black plastic) that seals against the windshield has probably lost its seal. Have someone remove it and apply a bead of windshield adhesive to it and reinstall. This has fixed most of the cars I have worked on.

more than likely it's your windshield leaking and the water is running down behind the dash onto the floor, any good dealer can find the leak.
